Barreal - los tres, 2 horses, 2 mulas and Kiki

On the way to Barreal it was my turn to hitch-hike and Caro and Philippe made their way here by horse. Kiki all-the-while sleeping in the back-pack, sitting on Caro´s shoulder or in her hat. She´s just born to be a Cabalgato! We found a place to stay here with the gendarmeria and the commandante being very impressed by our project not only offered us a place for the horses and a room for us but also organised a TV-interview for us the next day! In our manky clothes, wrecked as we are, we presented ourselves the next morning and weren´t only visited by the TV, but also the local radio reporter! We´re gonna need a secretary to organise our agenda of appointments soon, haha! It was a bit of a surreal situation and in our ´near-perfect´castellano (BIG HAHA) we managed to tell the argentinian public about us, the cabalgata, our horses and used the opportunity to thank all the people we met along the way who have been so incredibly helpful and hospitable. So for sure, los tres are famous now - in Barreal at least! ;o)

Sur la route pour Barreal c'etait le tour de Myrna de faire de l'auto-stop, et fifi et moi sont alle a cheval. Kiki a tour de role dormait sur mon epoçaule, dans le chapeau de fifi ou le mien. Elle est nee pour etre un cabalgato!! On a trouve un endroit ou dormir ici, a la gendarmerie, le commendant impressionne par notre projet, ne nous a pas juste offert un endroit pour les chevaux et une chambre pour nous, mais aussi organise une interview TV pour nous le jour suivant! Dans nos abits sales, fatigues autant que nous sommes, nous nous sommes presente le matin suivant...mais ce qui nous attendait aussi c'etait la radio! On va avoir besoin d'un secretaire pour faire notre agenda, hahah! C'etait un peu une situation surrealiste avec notre "presque parfait" castillano! on a reussi quand meme reussit aparler un peu de nous, de la cabalgata, des chevaux et on a profite de l'oportunite pour remercier tous les gens que l'on a rencontre sur la route et qui on ete incroyablement acceuillant et aidant...donc c'est sur Los tres sont celebre maintenat!!

C'est photo en "direct" d'une des sceance internet que Myrna et moi faisons pour le blog ( d'une duree de 3 a 4 heures en moyenne a chaque arret ou il a internet)-Cette fois avec kiki qui se detent et une biere fraiche!

Liebe Myrna,

mit Interesse lese ich auch andere Kommentare an euch! Bei den französischen aber kapituliere ich, oh wie schade! Aber, bei Agathe verstand ich doch sinngemäß die Frage, ob ihr nach allem (Erlebten) dann später wieder in ein normales Leben zurückkehren könnnt... ich habe einst halt nur ein paar Jahre Französisch als zweites Wahlfach gelernt.
Auf der Nordseite unserer Weltkugel hat uns der Winter im Griff, wobei Irland und England viel mehr vom Schnee überhäuft wurden als wir! Den Engländern geht ja schon das Streusalz aus! Jetzt streuen sie Speisesalz, die Armen!Eigentlich sollten wir ihnen von unserem Streusalz, das hier lagert, etwas abgeben...
Wenn Du wieder zu Hause bist, dann ist bestimmt Frühling in Irland.

dis donc que d'aventures !!!
c'est incroyable de lire votre recit et de vous imaginer dans ces immenses paysages, avec vos chevaux, vos chapeaux et ce petit chat !!!
Est ce que vous allez réussir à revenir à la vie normale après tout ça ?!
